Penegra 25 mg

Penegra Uses

 * It is used to treat erectile dysfunction
 * It boosts sexual performance
 * It enhances sex drive
 * It helps harder erections
 * It improves stamina

Penegra (sildenafil) dilates the arteries in the penis and thus allows filling of blood into sinusoids (small spaces in the penis). As the penis hardens, the veins are compressed restricting the blood flow out of the penis. This filling of blood into the penile space causes an erection.

Directions

Take one tablet one hour before you plan to have sex. Don't take more than one tablet in 24 hours. Even if you take Penegra (sildenafil), you still need physical and mental stimulation and desire to have an erection. If your first dose of Penegra 25 mg does not help, Call your doctor. Your doctor need to change your tablet strength.

What is the appropriate dose?

The standard dose is 50mg one hour prior to sexual activity. However, if you are older than age 65 or have a serious kidney or liver disease some physicians will recommend starting with the minimal dose of 25mg. Penegra 25 mg (sildenafil) should not be taken more than once per any 24 hour period and doses should not exceed 100mg. The half-life of Penegra, the time the drug remains effective after ingestion, is approximately four hours.

Penegra is rapidly absorbed. Maximum observed plasma concentrations are reached within 30 to 120 minutes (median time 60 minutes) of oral dosing on an empty stomach. Please note: when Penegra is taken with a high fat content meal, the rate of effectiveness can be significantly diminished.

What are the Side Effects of Penegra?

Like all medications, Penegra (sildenafil) can cause some side effects. These are usually mild & tolerable and don't last longer than a few hours. Some of these side effects are more likely to occur with higher doses of Penegra.

The most common side effects experienced with Penegra are:

 * headache
 * flushing
 * indigestion
 * stuffy nose
 * changes in vision such as blurring a blue colour to your vision
 * diarrhoea
 * urinary tract infection
 * stomach upset

It's also worth remembering that if you suffer from side effects it is quite likely that you are taking too large a dose and reducing your dosage will reduce the side effects or even remove them altogether.

Medical advise should be sought immediately in the rare event of an erection lasting for more than 4hrs.

If you have chest pains, dizziness, or nausea during sex, stop and immediately tell your health care provider.
